Illusion tower movement

How much 'play' should one expect with an illusion tower? I was told it is supposed to move, but over time wont it just wear down the parts? thanks!!

There should be no movement at all. We've had people get their hands pinched between the base & the tower because there was too much.

If your tower has any, there are bushing & pins that can be replaced to make it solid again.

Any idea where you can order the parts you reference?

Your Malibu dealer should be your first try. But Metcraft went out of business so you may have to hunt for them.

Other Malibu dealers may still have them. I see Bakes has pins and bushings listed.
