Dewinterizing

so i just called my malibu dealer to see how long it would take to get dewinterized and he said that it was. obviously i was confused. he said they use nontoxic antifreeze and that the boat was good to go. all we had to do was check plugs, hook up the battery and go. anybody else do it this way? we used a guy in alabama last year that we took it to and he dewinterized it. also what your bucket lists for getting the boat ready (i.e. oil changes, anything that prolongs the life, etc.). Thanks.

I hook up the battery, get fresh gas, make sure the hull drain plugs are in place and then start the boat in the driveway on a hose and let it run a little. As long as it starts I'm good to go. All the fluids should have been changed as part of the winterization.
