20' VTX or 21' VLX For Slalom?

Hi,

I'm trying to determine which will provide the best (softest) slalom wake, a 21' VLX or 20' VTX, both with Diamond hull and bow ballast. Does anyone have thoughts on that? I'm trying to get the "best" of both slalom and wakeboarding worlds in one boat, but would like the extra room if I'm not sacrificing my slalom experience.

The VLX will be a big sacrifice of the slalom wake. You should consider an XTI. The Malibu dealer in Western Montana told me they order most of their 'wakesetters' on the diamond hull. There's a good chance that some of the used boats in your area are already on the diamond hull.

I have skied both. If you want the best slalom wake VTX. The VLX is not too bad but it is bigger, but that makes for a better wakeboard wake. bigger.
