Perfect Pass Paddle Wheel Install Question

Recommended Posts

Installing the Paddle Wheel in my 98' VLX, and the instructions say to point the arrow forward, but I've also read that if it's not near the centerline of the boat, that it should be turned a little bit.

Should I point the arrow straight forward, parallel with the centerline, or skew it a little bit and point it towards the nose of the boat?

On a VLX you can't be far off centerline due to the narrow area to physically mount it. As Jack said, feel free to angle it slightly if you like, but you really have a fairly wide angle window that it will work in without noticing any difference. We typically position our installations straight forward.

What you don't want is backwards, sideways, or drastically uphill (outward).
