New Malibu '99 sportster lx

Recommended Posts

I just picked up a '99 sportster lx 350ci. I'll post up a new boat thread with pics soon, but untill then...

I need to change the plugs and may as well do the wires and cap while I'm at it. I looked online and the Bakes(?) site popped up first and looks pretty good. I also noticed he posts on here, any discounts for forum members? I haven't checked my local shops (San Diego) to compare prices yet. How do their prices compare, how's the turn around time, and any recommendations on parts, oem or ? Thanks

Thanks for the tips. Ended up ordering all the parts from skidim and using the discount. Now I have to reorganize the plug wires on the cap, I think the p/o swapped some while she was taking some pics for me. The firing order is stamped on the intake, 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Regular chevy cylinders are numbered right side front to back 1-3-5-7 and left front to back 2-4-6-8, and with an electronic ignition #1 on the distributer is at the 5:30 position and rotates clockwise. Does anybody know if this sounds right for an indmar 350, is it standard rotation? The boat's a '99 sportster lx with a 350
