The weather in Denver was most cooperative and we were able to get out on the water one more time. The slalom gods shown down on us favorably and we took the token gift. It was great the air was 67 and he water was 44 according to the Bu. We were only free skiing because the course was taken out two whole weeks ago but I was able to just focus on good symmetrical skiing and keeping a tight line. Oh what fun, after two quick sets or 10 passes of 6-8 turns per pass my legs were noodles. I have been working out fairly hard too and extra this week so that the holiday eatings don't get ahead of my vest size :) but, no comparision with skiing. I also just got a slalom switch for my boat and it felt like it made the pull a little smoother with it set on PX 5, could be just me though.

I'll post pictures after I get my laptop configured to understand the extra drive.

Happy Thanksgiving all, and God bless the US

We got out today and showed my 12yr old cousin how to wakeboard. 67F water. 68F Air. Didn't even need a shorty. Loved it. We had the whole lake to ourselves for 4 hours. Hope it is as empty tomorrow.

Got out again on Fri for another couple of sets! Wahooooooo! I've never been so lucky and what a good time off. Played Volleyball on Sat and now, I'm tired. I ready to get back to the every day skiing so I don't have to be so concerned about being in shape.

When I was free skiing I was trying to practice what I was preaching to those in the NEW SKI thread and the SKISIX Doubters threads and just kept an even tempo through out the turn and I was noticeing that I if I watched my arm reach out I had a smother turn and I also focused my attention on the boat as I finished the turn and was able to easily keep the ski under me and there were never any abrupt pulls from the boat. I have not free skied very much and I thought that those things were interesting. I am going to have to figure out how to carry that into my course skiing.
