Could anyone tell me if a wedge off of a 2005 vlx will fit on a 2002 sunsetter lx, Thanks

AFAIK there was no such a thing as an 02 sunsetter "lx". I was under the impression that there was the plain old sunsetter, and sunsetter lxi. The reason I bring the distinction up is that if my memory is correct ALL the 02 sunsetters were diamond hulls and thus would spec the flat wedge, not the chevron shaped one found on the non-diamond vlx's which the 05 VLX likely is. I'd double check before buying.

Correct in '02 there was only the Sunsetter moniker though, it's essentially the Sunsetter LX. It's not critical to which version of the wedge you get, but univerisally it's generally accepted that the flat wedge is for the diamond hulls and the chevron "angled" wedge is for the non-diamond hulls. To answer the op question yes it will fit though it is the angled wedge vs the flat style. Unless you are getting a killer deal I'd look into the newer floating wedge instead, otherwise the one off the '05 VLX will fit.
