winterizing a 2002 Wakesetter VLX

Hi Bu Crew,

I know there are a lot of posts on winterizing and I've searched / gone thru the resources. I haven't found the key piece of info I'm looking for. I'd like to learn the key drain points on the 02 wakesetter for winterizing. I've removed the knock sensor and a lot of water came out that way. Have disconnected hoses, but I think there are a few drain plugs I need to deal with on the engine. Any guidance would be warmly appreciated - especially if it comes with pictures!

Cheers,

Eddie

The exact opposite side of the motor from the knock sensor there is another drain. Usually used for the heater, if equipped. Also disconnect the hoses to the exhaust manifolds. (Probably a garden hose attachment connecting the two together..)

Search winterization or go to the DIY pages on this site for more detailed info... Others will chime in as they are between dinner and d*** Clark!!

I'm in California and I usually don't winterize...

Good luck!

Patrick
