I haven't said a word on this thread because I'm afraid I'd jynx my luck. But I'm running low profile car tires & put about 3000 miles a year on them & never have an issue (yet).

What size tires are you running?

Yea, thats another reason I should keep my trap shut. I don't know what size they are. And the boat is in storage behind a 4' snow drift right now. I bought the boat with them already & believe the rims are 17s. My spare is actually a factory spare, so the outside diameter is about the same.

LOL.gif I hear you. I didn't comment on this thread for a while for the same reason. I guess you and I better make sure our spares look good next season.

I needed new tires at the end of last season BAD!, I didnt want to deal with running all the way down to my Gramps shop (about an hour away) to spin on the new ones so I grabbed some old Ford Escort tires that I had behind the shed. They were rated for 32 psi, I put about 60 in them so they didnt squat.:rockon:

Just typing it makes me feel bad... hahahahahahahahahha

I have a heavy foot...prob why my car only gets 9 mpg towing in sport mode. The speed limit is 70 here so its hard to remind myself to keep it down.

I actually saw a triple axle donzi tonight shred all three tires passenger side during rush hour and rolling on rims trying to slow down still cruising at 50+mph!
