Winterization List??? Anyone got it.

Recommended Posts

Hey gang. There was a real good extended winterization list posted a while back on one of the threads by a member and now the link to the file doesn't work. Does anyone have this list and can post it.....it was about 4 pages I think and a great resource. Should have printed it while it was still available.

Thanks,

Joel

Need to change the ownership permissions to make it viewable as a web document.

Sorry, I had sharing set if using the link, now I just made the document public

Hope it works now.

Griswald,

Nice write-up. Did you write that?

There's a mis-print here:

III. Gas Stabilizer

A.

Pour Sta-bil into gas tank (45gallon tank, 1 ounce for each 5 quarts of gasoline)

Right on. If it's marine sta-bil it's an ounce per 5 gallons.

Boy would an ounce per 5 quarts get expensive!

That is a nice doc! Good job!

Thanks, I wrote it the first winter I had the boat. Took information from the manuals and this website and combined it into one.

Thanks for catching the misprint.

Great document.

One other thing to possibly add:

Remove the hose from the bildge pump. This hose traps water that could either cause the hose to burst, or, worse, cause the pump or part of the pump casing to crack.

Thanks again I made the change on the link
