New mufflers and winterizing

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any thoughts as to how to go about winterizing with the added mufflers?

We store in a heated garage, but are wondering mostly if we should be concerned with any little bit of water in

our new inline mufflers.

Nope, nothing to worry about, plenty of room to expand if any water in there does freeze. Gravity will take care of most of the water right out the back.

I had a buddy with an MC 190 that had a muffler crack a number of years ago. We assumed it was due to the winter freeze. I was always told that you should bump start the engine for a second to blow them out. So far, so good.
