If the MC had the hydraulic steering, then it holds its position even at full speed, and at surfing speeds too.

Still a stupid concept, but it could easily be done with hydraulic steering.

If you pause the video at 34 seconds you can see the other person sitting in the front of the boat reflecting in his sungalsses

It's kind of like a 2007 Malibu for $20k. It didn't pass the sniff test.
