Had a great weekend. My wife sent me to do my own Christmas shopping at the local pro shop's annual Christmas sale! (Last time she'll make that mistake, I'm sure. ) Came back with new gloves & glove liners, a rope, some combo skis (never had a pair, got a lot of friends who don't ski... yet ), and oh yes, a pair of Approach bindings for my CDX!

I got almost $850 in gear (list) for a tad over $500, tax included. And the best part was my wife didn't even mind! Turns out she was just relieved to know her shopping is now done. I'm sure I've said it here before, probably not enough, but my wife is awesome!

Now, only 3 1/2 more months until the lake thaws...
