'94 Echelon with wedge access door

I picked up this platform from NDawg12 off of his 2006 V-Ride. It fits the 1994 Echelon like it was made for it. Here's the old one:

Here's the close up of the curve. Totally different boat, 12 years apart, but not much difference!

Thanks NDawg, this deck will make a big difference in the early spring runs instead of getting in the water for the wedge! And it already knocks down the little spray we would get from the wedge, which would spit just enough occasional spray at you to be annoying when sitting in the back seat on plane with the wedge up.

So, do you make the glass ones in red?Whistling.gif

I have the same one you got from NDawg on my 2001 Response Lx. One piece on the hinged door is missing and we don't have a wedge so I might be interested in your old platform if it's for sale. Thanks!

Would you be willing to trade...?

Thanks for the pics John, but I must say that looks terrible, I think I should refund your money and you should ship me back my teak!! (My fiberglass one is falling apart  and no I don't make them in red)

Just kidding about your new teak, looks great!

Is your home made one really coming apart? Dang, I was so amazed that you did it, bummer to hear.

Yeah boy! I have the same platform on the 87' Sunsetter!

Love that boat, it's got it all! Very nice.

I'll be posting the old one for sale, gotta get some better pics. The good thing is it is not warped, the bad thing is it has a hokey repair job done.

Yeah, it's looking really bad, spitting along the edges  oh well, I learned alot (mostly that I'm not an fg fabber  ), it was fun and looked decent for half a season!! I'll be keeping my eye out for a deal on a new factory one, I know one just changed hands for about $300...

You can easily add a door in the old one, if some one is interested in it. A little plastic takes care of the splashing from the wedge.

Thanks for chiming in on that 95, that was my plan this winter. The only bad thing is the carriage bolts and piece of trex underneath the center support. I DID NOT DO IT (for the record...want to make sure everyone is clear on that). But yes, otherwise it is definitely workable and I would have done your same project if NDawg's didn't come up on the board.
