OK Here's the story. The last time I used my boat the guage worked fine then I let my son take it out (mistake) with out me and he said the gauge didn't work. So yesterday when I was working on the boat... adding a new radio... I connected the battery and turned the egnition on and cycled through the computer display (Eschelon LX with the Computron Computer) and when I got to the depth gauge I got four dashes - - - - Is this normal when your out of the water?

Thx John

Entirely normal for the boat being out of the water. If it happnes while on the water, you have an issue.
