Steering issue

Hello

Yesterday had the boat out and did a turn to pick up our wakeboarded and heard a loud snap/pop and the steering wheel just spun. I think it's a steering cable but not sure? How hard is it to replace the sending unit in a fuel tank, Would be nice to have a gas gauge that was accurate. Best online place to get parts??

Steering - Yes probably cable. Not hard to do - do a search for "steering cable replacement" or similar, and lots of results will come up telling you how to do it. Skidim.com for steering parts in my opinion.

Fuel sending unit - probably not all that hard. Depends entirely on what year and what boat. Bakes Online is the preferred source for such a thing I think.

Like jeffs said...do a search here and replace the steering cable. Also, welcome to the Crew.
