Bilge and Stereo no power

Recommended Posts

I have a 99 Response LX. The bilge and the stereo neither have power. Replacing the bildge with new automatic one and no power to the new unit. Was going to replace all the wiring but the stereo doesn't have power either. Anyone know where to find the fuse box? Any other suggestions?

Did you recently replace your battery?

The reason I ask is that both items you in question are often wired directly to the battery, bypassing any perko swithces, etc. The bilge pump so it will always work, the stereo head unit so that the presets/clock are maintained.

It is possible that the wire(s) that feed those two items has come loose or was not reattached during a battery swap.

Not sure but check under the throttle along the side panel.

Thank you. That's where it was and the Bilge fuse was tripped. Pushed the button and it ran.
