There is some play in the pylon on my 03 Response LXI. It will move back and forth rotating slightly around the bolt under the floor. There is no play in the perpendicular direction. I have tightened the bolt as much as I can, but there is still play in the pylon. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks

Loosen the bolt, place a piece of 2x4 on top of the pylon and tap, (And by "tap" I mean relatively hard!) the pylon back down into the reciever, it is a tapered fit, then re-tighten the bolt.

the same thing happens to my 06 RLXI when I use my extended pylon and wakeboarders put a lot of side load on the boat.....good luck
