Replacing paddlewheel on speed sensor

Recommended Posts

Speedometer only showing about 1/2 actual speed on 2009 247. Pulled it out of the water, and one of the "paddles" on the paddlewheel speed sensor is broken off. Doesn't look like it would be too hard to get out of there and replace, but wondering if I should do it myself, as I am not sure how it comes out of there. Let me know if you have suggestions. Thanks.

It's not complicated at all. Just use the pin in the kit to knock out the other pin. Replace the wheel and put the pin back in. Should take about 5 min.
