What kind of adhesive should I use to fasten the old rubbers on titan racks?

How bad are they? Not sure what to use to secure them but you can take them out and replace with black silicone. Use rubbing alcohol for shaping and cleanup.

The rubbers start to fall from the racks. The rubbers still look good to me. I can see dry adhevsive on rubbers though..

3m weatherstrip adhesive - the original was only in yellow. Now it comes in black as well.

Yep that is def. going to be the best option. It can be found at a local auto parts store. It is like super duper rubber cement. I would think of this a permanent fix.

Interesting. I have the same issue. My dealer used epoxy to glue the pads in place. I have yellow glue all over the racks now.

I wonder if Malibu is willing to replace the forks.

My Malibu dealer replaced the forks entirely. Got the new ones that are completely coated and have a wider slot on top for wakeskates/surfboards.

Like ZZ said 3M super weather strip adhesive, black RTV silicone, or maybe double face tape. One thing to remember tape the forks off these glues are messy and will look like hell if you goof them up. Try taping the areas off and use alcohol for clean up.

It was still under warranty and I went thru the dealer - Atlanta Inboard. They've been good about issues I've had with the boat.

I've got the same problem with my forks on my board rack. What would you guys us on a sticker that is peeling off. I've got the 08 wakesetter graphic and the m is peeling off. I think it's from all the ballast we use surfing and leaning the boat on it's side so the water has started to peel it off. It's on top of a sticker so I wouldn't just be slapping glue on the gel coat

. Any thing you would recommend for a sticker?

that 3M VHB is what gopro uses for its surfboard camera mount....

I'd use 3m vhb double sided tape. Available at walmart and easy to use without making a mess. It's super super strong too.

Hmm, I don't think this will work as the tape has some thickness.

Unless his are different, my Titan forks have channels that the rubber sits in, I'm not sure how/if this double sided tape would work...?

Slice with razor to make long thn strip that goes in channel. Then put rubber on top. Tape is 1mm thick. Prolly not noticeable.
