boatmate trailer

Have a boatmate trailer that the rubber protective on the top of the fenders came off. I have tried to glue it back on using a number of types of glue. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas of a type of glue that would hold the protective rubber pieces on?

Had the same issue recently, went to the auto parts store and was suggested to use 3M Spray Adhesive. The can lists uses such as weatherstriping, headliners etc. I was skeptical but the parts guy insisted this was the right stuff for the job. He was right, it worked like a charm. Comes out looking like thin construction adhesive, once set it ain't coming loose again.
