A couple from this summer.

First bunch - Never new how much fun the pictures can be from a chase boat.

And the very last pict is during crazy weird weather, but turned out beautiful - just a nice picture. You'll all notice... it's posed. The scene was just so eerie yet pretty, sent the fam out for a picture. But it's my older son on the back with his wakeboard and we don't even have the pylon up. No one else will notice. Shhh...don't tell.

What lake dragon? What are the specs on the pics? Just getting into photos. It looks like those night shots were left with the shutter open for awhile? Crazy glass water, like a mirror you can see the bottom of the boat on the lift!

Ah, I see Flikr strips all the exif data out of the photos. Anyways, the first long exposure was for 94 seconds @ f:6.3 ISO 100, the second was for 91 seconds @ F:9 ISO 160. The first 3 were shot with a Canon 20D and the last one was shot with a 1D MkII.

T1i, but I think the max the shutter will stay open is 30 seconds???? Snapped this last year, wish it was a little lighter......

If you want to do exposures >30seconds then you will need to pick up a cable remote, and set your camera in 'bulb' mode. They can be had for super cheap on ebay (probably around $15), a must have for any type of long exposure work.

Fark that boat looks good all black.... Is it a pain to keep clean?

Ya know, not really. I have had black vehicles all my life and this is not my first black boat. I have a pretty regimented wipe down pocedure and I use a product called Slickmist by Lucas oil. It has carnuba in it and really keeps the surface of the gel,......Slick. i suppose it would be easier to care for if it was a different color, but I am so used to the care for black stuff it doesn't really phase me. Nothing looks better than black, when it's clean.

Kinda looks like your boat has a twin on that lake? You have a pretty unique boat, what are the chances of that??

If that's Brady's boat in the background, it's a VLX and has some red on it......
