I have a 2008 23LSV with 70 hours on it now.

I did the intial 20-30 hour service (forgot exactly how many hours) but haven't done anything since.

Does anyone know the breakdown of what should be done at which points?

oil changes, filters, etc etc

Oil change every 50 hrs.

Thats all I got but I'm very interested in the rest of this topic.

Also I plan on replacing my impeller every season when winterizing.

Good idea on the impeller. I need to order some stuff from Bakes so may as well order their impeller kit too.

Not sure if i want to do my own oil change but it seems fairly easy. Anyone feel free to input on that too.

I also do the trans oil and clean the air filter each season, doesn't matter how many hours on it. I usually put about 70-80 hrs a season, I also change my engine oil twice a year and the oil filter once a year. Check the plugs each season also!! Just rolled over 200 hrs and I'm going to be changing the spark plugs at the end of the season and checking the timing.

Very easy, I wouldn't have your oil changed by the shop unless it's in for other work and buy the larger oil filter.

Why put new oil in only to contamanate it with a dirty filter?? Trying to save a few bucks??

If anything, the filter should be changed twice/year and change the oil once/year...specially if you are using a synthetic.
