The 07 is on a new haul Cut Diamond. The 06 is on the V-23 diamond. Its the biggest difference. The 06 will be a better bare foot boat if you are into bare footing. I own an 07 and don't think I would recommend it over a 06. The 06 may be less weight sensitive. Both are outstanding slalom boats. 07 has a what is called a frame less window No big thing.

The 07 has a higher bow hight if you will be in rough water.

If you are a tournament skier and want to ski with Zero Off the 07 is the first year with throttle by wire and is capable of being modified with an econtrol ecm to accommodate ZO. Cost is about $3500. Future sale value will hold better for the 07 in the tournament skier market. If you are a fun skier the cruise in the 06 will be great. The 07 is a bit more driver friendly and the 06 requires a more experienced driver for shortline slalom.

Are you asking because you're considering buying an '07 and you have an '06?

Maybe if you provided some details on what you do when you go out, how many people you have with you, where you go, etc... we could help.

Thanks for all your comments and info , that is correct I have an 06 and found an 07 and I am wondering if it is really worth upgrading ? I know that they made some improvements in 07 , our family does mostly recreational skiing 50% , wakeboarding 40% and kneeboarding 10%

I wouldn't "upgrade" from my '04, but I am usually only out with 2-3 other people and ski 90% / barefoot 10%.

I can see moving to an '07 if you load up the boat more (don't have to worry about stuffing the bow). We were out with a full boat load on a REALLY choppy lake yesterday and the '03 - '06 hull isn't very user friendly in those conditions. Aside from that I personally just don't see it.

My $.02.

Without knowing what it would cost I probably wouldn't do it. I am still driving my 2002 LX. I would love to get into a boat with Zero Off since we ski tournaments but I can't afford that check right now.
