Tower Lights

Got the tower lights all wired on the tower ('09 V-ride), now just need to hook up the power and my Aux switchs (simple mechanical rocker style) on the dash. The lights are Metcraft 55 watt, I was planning on two aux switches each running two lights. Does anyone know how difficult this is to do? Does this require the use of a relay? Just looking for some pointers before I tackle it, or else I'll end up at the dealer. thanks - SPARTY

Yes relay of each switch and big wire, those suck some juice and you don't want a fire. 12 awg power/ground. Why do two rocker switches when you can just do a 3-way switch? Will you ever have them both on at the same time?

No question, definitely use a relay. I just rewired the tower lights (the dealer did a s*** job and had 8 lights wired through two 12 gauge wires. yikes) I upped the lights to 100w each, using 4 10 gauge power wires and 2 8 gauge ground wires to 4 separate relays all activated by one dash mounted ACC rocker. Fairly simple once you start running wires. :)
