Ballast Settings/Sensor Problems

Recommended Posts

I am new to boating and have bought a used 2006 Wakesetter VLX.

Boat is awesome but struggling with the ballasts.

They SEEM to fill but the sensors always show the right filling and the other 3 not filling, no matter which MLS ballast button I engage.

This is making it very hard to produce proper wake, especially surfing. I am getting inadequate wake with lots of wash.

Any advice out there?

Thanks from a newbie!

Sorry I don't have the answer but I had always wondered how well these gauges worked when traditionally the gas gauges don't even work well.

That said, my gas gauge finally started working consistently AFTER 500 hours.

I think only the boats with that "illustrious hull" had that condition. I don't have that much expierience though cause they are so coveted and rare. Not manty folks have them.
