Breaking in a Rebuilt Engine

Hey Crew,

I had to have my engine rebuilt in my 97 response, and I'm curious as to whether I need to break in my rebuilt engine just like you would break in a new engine. I'm assuming I will need to, but just wanted a few more opinions. Thanks.

I had my motor rebuilt by a gear head guy that builds racing motors for cars. I asked him abotu break in. He ran it on a Dyno and said I did not need to break it in. Just run it like I would normally run it.
