I love my boat and the ExtCAT makes it nice and clean on the swim platform. However, the exhaust is LOUD! It makes it hard to hear the stereo when you are surfing or even just talk to people in the boat. Are there any options for making the exhaust quieter?

I miss having a separate switch for the stereo so that it stayed on when you turned the engine off. Is it ok to turn the boat off, then turn the key forward again or if I'm going to just listen to the stereo for more than 5 minutes, should I turn the key back? I know the fuel pump turns on when turning the key forward, but I'm sure if that or anything else is a problem.

Is it ok to just pull the safety shutoff (the lanyard) to kill the motor and leave everything else running, or is it not a good idea to do that a whole lot?

How do I set the clock? I swear I've been through the manual and I cannot figure it out!

Also, the bimini top has velcro straps on the sides, but I can't get them to wrap around anything. Are they supposed to be connected to something?

Thanks!

I have a 2004 Sportster with the factory gauges. IF you have the same pack, you hold the down button on the speedo adjust until the gauge starts to flash. Then you release the down button and immediately push the down button again to advance the hours. When the hours are correct, then push the up button until the minutes advance to the correct time. Holding in that button will advance the minutes ten minutes at a time. Pressing the button in and out will advance the minutes 1 minute at a time. You soon will have the clock set correctly. When you stop pressing any button, the unit will reset itself to where you want it. One thing, you must be on the clock readout before you try and adjust it. If you are on another function readout, you will not be able to set the clock.
