This saddens me. One of the greatest wave machines ever has become a legend and now is forced to lead the life of a tube puller. I am sorry Blue Thunder. Lord please give them guidance on unlocking the power of Blue Thunders awesome wave capabilities and show them the path to the endless wave

Nothing wrong with pulling a tuber around once in awhile. If thats what the kids love, do it. I see some wakeboards on the rack in that picture so maybe they are taking a break and letting the kids have a turn. Maybe blue thunder is enjoying the calm before the storm!

this aint about tubing or not tubing. it is about seeing your dear old boat used for something other than what you put so much time energy effort and money into that is developing the ultimate wave.

i am glad my boat names are well liked

Sounds like separation anxiety, maybe you shouldn't have sold her :Tease3: .

Interesting that you guys ended up on the same body of water. Maybe you could sneak over to their house at night and rub her belly to remind her that she is a good girl and still very much loved.

Better that the boat is enjoyed and used than worrying about how it's used. Life's short.... at least someone is out there tearin' it up. Way too many people stuck inside in front of an air conditioned flatscreen watching golf these days.

trust me that boat has been dead a few times........... but it has tought use everything that we now have perfected on the new boat. so live on old blue..............

I see alot of people tube with their 23/24's.

I know we mostly surf/wakeboard with our boat, but every week or two you have to break out the oll' tube and flip it a couple of times.

And its a good way to waste a wavy day.

I completely feel your pain! My old 205 showed up on my lake last week. I talked to the guy & he has blown the engine & heater up, replaced them both, rolled the hr meter back like 200 hrs, removed all the ballast I had on it, and removed the sundeck I built. He even removed the mirrors!

Then I saw it again on Sunday, giant tube in the bow so big that there is no way the driver could see. Two big yellow floaty toys flappin in the wind in bag. I told my buddy that it sucked to see it being abused!

Heres the ad for it: http://spokane.craigslist.org/boa/1826504331.html

The funny part is he has the boat listed for sale for $1000 more than he paid for it.:rofl:

Blue Thunder? Sparkles? Someone else needs to name your next boat

QFT. Those sound like bars where men in leather chaps get together. What's the next boat going to be called...."Velvet Fist" or maybe "Pickle Chaser"?

Dibs on Velvet Fist!!!! Reminds me a Tool song.

It's all yours. Anything with homosexual and "fist" is something I run fast away from, regardless of what it's made of.

Shame about the boat, rhino. At least you did it justice while you had it. That'll never be taken away.

You too, Bill.

Honestly, I believe ppl can use their boats however they like. the oinly reaosn it gets too me is because I know their are Soooooo Many ppl out there that would die to ride behind these types of boats and yet their being used for tubing, or cruising that a pontoon or runabout could handle fine.

Before we had our Malibu there was one Moomba on our lake, the only inboard and I would go up with my friends after work for 2 hrs and wakeboard and ski behind our o/b. Many times I saw that mommba pulling tubes or just cruising and I just wanted to go over and ask If I could go for a ski, surf, wake, foot, anything, and they could use our boat for tubing.

Now I'm up on weeknigths and I see them, and I'm just proud to show-off my Bu doing what it does best, pulling a rider!Clap.gif
