Looking for Sunsetter VLX

I am looking to make the switch from a PS 190 to more of a family-oriented boat. I'm in the market for a late 90's Sunsetter VLX. From what I've seen, a 99' looks like a great boat but I'm open to one that's a couple years newer or older. Please let me know if you are looking to sell.

Also, I don't want to completely sacrifice the slalom wake for this boat; so any advice from people on specific years that have good hulls for the VLX is greatly appreciated.

fyi the 2001 has the diamond hull which = better ski wake. it would be the same hull as 2002 and up sunscape 21

Also, starting in 2000 (I believe) they went to the 3 piece sunpad not, the motorized one piece.

Just looked at that ad. That's a good lookin' boat. Same interior colors as mine, same year as mine (mine's a WS). Anyway, looks real good. Missing the bow center cushion and teak needs a re-do but, otherwise should be able to get that for ~$22-$23K

I have a 99 VLX and it is a great boat, but I would look for a 2001 with a diamond hull. The 99 VLX ski wake is just okay, especially at slower speeds (bump gets pretty big). Also, one piece sunpad is a small thing but gets annoying.

Not me. My PS is a 91' and in pretty good shape. I'm keeping that boat in town for slalom skiing and looking for a boat to keep in TN for more family-oriented skiing; but occassionally ski open water slalom sets when the water's nice.
