Boat lift parts?

Just bought a used 3500lb shore master lift tonight. What are the best places to buy parts???There are no dealers in my area and was looking for some web sites to buy the parts asap, I need one cable and four pulleys. Thanks Jay

Check your area for a good fastener nuts and bolts store. Cable will be 1/2 price and you will usually be able to get pulleys or order them also.

McMaster Carr is a great source for many things that you may need for you lift. If you have the old part it would make it much easier to match for new parts. When I did a rebuild of my lift years ago, I got much of what I needed through them.

Thanks guys!!!! This site rocks cant wait to get the bu on a lift...the fun starts weds figuring how to get it 40 miles home. Take it apart and haul with my truck, use my boat trailer, or call a flat bed. Should be interesting

If you can find someone that will rent you a pontoon trailer, where the 'toons sit on a set of bunks, you'd be good. That's what I've seen most lifts hauled on. You just need to be careful about ripping the carpet when pushing it on and off.
