Been experimenting with Malibu Surf Waves for five years now. I have learned that you should not put weight in the bow area other than filling the factory ballast. Control the length of the wave with speed.

Camera angle does help. The other angles did not look as sweet. Learned it from Ken!

Looks tasty and also has a very familiar shape .

What did you find to be your recipe or is that secret?

I can't even believe how low the vent is to the water. That wave is absolutely ridicuolous.

I know it's in the other thread but how much TOTAL ballast is in there?

247 Surf Sac (Custom Made By Fly High) Approx 1600LBS. Fills Left Rear Compartment and the area under the seat in front of the compartment

Fly High Tube Sac 400 Lb but we only get about 300 due to being under observers seat

Factory Rear Left Front and Center

Wedge Down. Although One click below the white arc is also nasty.

In that picture we have a 400Lb sac strapped to the platform.

That is my recipe and it is no secret

Four Persons in total on the boat.

Although ours is dialed in really well theres always room to improve

you will did it the most. use some cinch type locking nylon straps. use two. keep the sac on the non surf side of the platform. if you dont the edge of the sac will be in the wave.

The platform sac was there only. no 750 on the seat. just trying it out with no sac in the playpin. came out good.

Sweet surf, I'm sure its fun to watch other boats hit that wake when they pass you. I have been known to put the front of pontoon boats under water
