Keeping the bag on the seat

Does anyone else have issues with keeping their fat sacs on the seat? I'm concerned that one of these days that 750 lbs of water is going to roll off and hurt someone. I've been noodling on making some kind of harness that wraps around the bag and the tower leg. I know Fly High makes an L shaped bag that they way will stay on the seat once full, but I'd rather spend the $400 on gas.

Any good hardware or camping or outdoors or boating store will have 2" webbing and "fastex" (the plastic fittings) buckles and fittings. Make a strap ling enough to go from under the bag (all you have to do is just have it under-the weight will do the rest) and up to the tower leg. I'd use a piece of dock line or old wakeboarding rope to tie around the tower and have a carabiner or some kind of buckle to attach to the rope.

Years ago I made a couple of 3 point seat belts for kids in the boat. It was to keep them in place, but I never used them...

fill it last and drain it first. the list of the boat will keep it in position.

i know what you are saying though and a strap around the belly of the sac and clipped around the tower support will prevent it from rolling off.

Make your own "L"

fill the sac on the side seat so that its butt is against the back seat

then fill another sac in the back seat and butt it up against the side sac.

You need at least that much to surf anyway

I just made a bench that has two legs cut at an angle so it rests on the floor against the side of the bag. I wrapped the top part of the bench and the bottom of the two legs in anti-slip fabric and it works like a charm.

I always clear out the under-seat storage area and throw the side sack under there. The only place I have a bag on the seat is up in the bow with the playpen cushion in.

I tested my Eagle Scout skilz and took two pieces of webbing, wrapped them around all four sides like a bday present with ribbon and sewed them together at the top with a loop for a carabineer then clipped the carabineer to the rail or cleat.
