Impeller Price?

Recommended Posts

Crew- wanted to stock up on a few impellers. Where do you buy them for the best price? I checked BAKES and see it is $30 with a $10 shipping charge. I went to a dealer tonight who wanted $40/impeller. Having previously worked at Mercury, I know the cost of these things and it is tough to see such price gouging.

Just paid $52.00 from my local dealer..I was shocked..I thought $35ish . It is for a monsoon but it is a Johnson part and comes with instructions and lubricant!!

I paid right around $50 from a local dealer. There are only two marine shops around here, so there is somewhat of a monopoly. But if you need it, you need it, and the dealers know you will pay for it.

Same Sh)t happened to me:

I walked into Waterski America (I own a malibu) and they wanteed $48 bucks for a johnson impellar. I laughed and told them I would order from Bakes marine.

Bakes had the imepllar for $29 and shipping was $8.

I know your supposed to support your local dealer and I do...but when they are chossing to outrageously rape you on part...my loyality ends right there!!!!

My local dealer will match price if you show them an example. Otherwise you'll pay $50 bucks for an impeller, etc.
