I see where the heater core is located. How do I get the floorboard off to get to a blown heater core?

I just removed mine in order to install a new steering cable. I looked and looked for a way to remove it and was told that the screws are buried in the carpet. It took me probably 15 min but I did finally find them all. On my 03 wakesetter I had 3 on the bottom and one up on the right corner.

Yeah, the screws are there, although they are very tough to find. Keep feeling around and you'll get them eventually.

Easiest way to find them is to tap around with a small screwdriver till you hear a metal to metal noise. That's how I found mine. 3 on the floor and one in the top right hand corner.
