2000 Sunsetter VLX Manual

Recommended Posts

Canuck

Greetings folks. I am a newbee. Just acquired a 2000 Sunsetter VLX and am in need of the User Manual for it. Searched here but could find no reference to it. Wondering if anyone has a digital copy they could PM me or advise how I might acquire one here in Ontario Canada. Tks!!

Someone here may post one for you, but you can go to the Malibu website, send them an e-mail through their contact link, and they will e-mail it to you. That's what I did.

Thansk Vette-Ski. I did contact them before I posted here and they advised that they only have the 2006 manual available for download......

Well, sounds like that particular person didn't want to be very helpful. They have them, and they will e-mail them out. I'm sure they only have the 2006 on their website, but they do have the older ones.

I had a 2000 Sunsetter VLX but gave the manual away to the new owner when I sold it. However, the manual that came with my new 2005 Response Lxi was almost exactly the same. The features section changed but many of the other sections are no different than they were in 2000. If you download the manual from 2006, it isn't that much different. The same goes for the engine manual from Indmar. Not that many changes.

Not that many changes.

And, in my opinion, not that much information in either manual, just the basics. You'll find much more information on this site.

The service manual for the Indmar is a little better, but nothing like the factory service manual you can get for a Nissan or Toyota. Those manuals describe every nut, bolt and system in the vehicle. The Indmar service manual is very generic.

Welcome to the site, BTW...

You're right rts. Managed to get my hands on a copy from a Northern Ontario dealer. Pretty basic.

Thanks for the welcome and I look forward to learning more about my boat at this site.

Hope I can contribute in the future.

CHEERS!!
