Malibu's website says the new VLX standard horsepower is rated at 330 hp, while the VTX and 23 LSV have a standard hp rating of 350. The huge 247 obviously has a 450 hp rating. I am just confused why Malibu would put more power in the VTX than the VLX. Does anyone have any insight into why?

I am just curious, not complaining nor considering to buy yet.

I bet this is a typo, I have an 09 VLX with 350hp

Base engine is the LCR which now has 330 hp, next motor up is the Monsoon with 350 hp.

Not sure what you can get with each, but I think the VTX and VLX come standard with the LCR and the 23's come with the 350 Monsoon stanard, 247 is the 8.1 big block standard.
