Thanks to everyone for the advice in my upgrading questions thread. We went to the dealer yesterday set on buying a used 09 VLX and got as far as filling out the purchase order. However, they looked at my trade and made me an offer I'd be dumb to pass up on a 2010. Was originally looking at another VLX, but went up again and got a 23. It's very, very sweet and I'm still in shock (probably will be until I take delivery tomorrow).

I'll post pics as soon as I'm able. Hopefully the weather isn't too bad down here and we can start break-in Friday.

Ditto, I still have a giant grin on my face every time I take out my 2003 ... even though I've had it for 7 years.

Congrats, I bought mine used this year but I spent the entire 8 months looking at VLX's but in the end I got an LSV and I am very happy with my boat. Glad I upgraded my search, I have to say I really just liked the condition and the paint scheme on the boat was not really looking for a 23 but this one was immaculate and my dream colors. Now I am really glad to have the 23, I think it handles rough water better and there is more room for the family and guests. My Lake neighbors call it the limosine. Takes a little more ballast to surf with but the surf wave is awesome

I did the same thing in 2007. Went to look at a VLX, but up graded to the LSV and glad I did. It has more room inside for not that much more $. Sweet boat by the way. You are gonna love it!
