Latch on the sundeck of back locker broke

cool thanks. The design on these things is terrible. It's a high traffic piece and it's made out of plastic. I've noticed this the case on most of the boats I've been on

Bakesonline might carry them. Or marinehardware.com

Dealer replaced mine for $30.. Always leave them unlocked position. If you shut the door in lock postion, it will pop the latch and break...

Yeah looks like 39.99 on bakes, crappy design. Why even put a lock on them when you could just put a small amount of extra pressure and break them..................

Yeah, I was also told that perko latches have universal key. If so, what is the point to have lock if anyone have perko univeral key!

They don't have a universal key, they have quite a few different keys, but there are lots of master sets floating around I'm sure.
