Replacing heater vent hose

Recommended Posts

On my buddy's boat it just screws on. The hose is ribbed, which creates "threads", and the vent end-piece has little tabs on it that the "threads" of the hose grip.

Can't say for sure in a "malibu" heater as I don't have one. :( That's why I have neoprene booties. Biggrin.gif

My wife likes her neoprene socks and her hot tube.

I'll have to check again, but I couldn't get the end of the tube to budge, although I didn't try to unscrew it which could be the problem.

The only way I could get my wife on the boat once the weather turns cold would be to put a hot tub in the back.

That would be no good. Then you'd have to wakeboard. I'd rather leave the wife on the dock.

 DOH! Did I say that? Lucky for me the CFO will drive, using the hot seat and heater, after only minor complaining. No big deal really, cause at that point I'm usually not listening. ;)
