My son is going to be in Lexington VA for the next 3 years, and we are looking for some good lakes where we could each drive some and then meet.

I am looking for skiing / wakeboarding lakes along the I-64 area in eastern KY, or in WVA or that region of VA.

Anyone from that area, or been boating in that area?
