Wedge won't come up

My Wedge is in the down position and won't come up. I hit home on the preset, and the display says raise the wedge but the beep sound doesn't come on and the wedge won't come up. Any ideas? Does this seem like it needs to go to the dealer?

I think you have to be moving to move the power wedge so that if some is back there they don't get an arm or leg pinched..??

Thats true- if it's on the trailer it takes 2 people one to spin the MPH ball and the other to push the up wedge button

Yep. Just got my new/used boat home and did the same thing. Manual reads engine has to be at 1000 RPM in order for power wedge to be operable. It will go down anytime but will not come up. Will try the MPH thing if it ever get's let down again. Thanks.

Thanks for your comments. I did have the boat in gear and still nothing. It turns out that the circuit breaker underneath the dash was popped. It is an easy fix but you ahve to know what to look for. I ahve a 08 VTX and this is waht you need to do:

1) Pop off the cover to the electrical under the dash board.

2) Under the cover all of the electrical wires for the lights, wedge etc come in.

3 Find the wires for the power wedge black and white.

4) Follow the wires to a blue clip.

5) In the middle of the blue clip is a small (1/8")black button

6) push in to reset the button and the wedge works
