Towing Jet Ski behind boat trailer

Has anyone ever fabricated a receiver hitch on their boat trailer? Im looking for a way to tow both the bu' and a single jet ski w/o two vehicles. According to a DPS officer I spoke with, it is legal in TX. I just may have to make an extension to keep the tongue of the jet ski away from the wedge and swim platform. Any suggestions or pics?

Thanks,

Brian

you should be able to weld on a reciever and then make it removable. If it was there all the time the prop would hit it coming off the trailer. I would double check the laws regarding tandem trailers. Usually the first trailer has to be a 5th wheel/goose neck and both trailers will need to have brakes on them. Most jet ski trailers dont have brakes. You would also need to add a wiring harness for the second trailer to plug in to.
