HELP. Fuel Pump/System Whining/Fuel Pressure Drops when Engine Heats up

Recommended Posts

Fuel pumps whine and scream when they can't get enough fuel, or they are getting air instead.

Change the low pressure filter on the tank, if no change check the inlet screen to the fuel pump, if no change run it on a remote tank to eliminate the anti-siphon valve and pinched lines as a variable, if no change change the pump.

High pressure filters and the pressure regulator will cause running issues, but typically not whining pumps.
