Boat Cover

My boat came with the original cover, which is 15 years old. Needless to say it doesn't fit around the back completely due to shrinking over the years and leaks lots of water. I've been looking for a new cover, but can't seem to find one that has the buttons on the inside to attach the two support poles that "tent" the cover. Anyone know where I can find one?

It's a 95 Response.

Finding a cover with those two buttons is the last thing I'd be concerned about. Get a high quality cover and find a way to make a "tent" by building a small pvc pipe skeleton underneath. Or, take the new cover to an upholstery shop and have them install the buttons you need where ever you need them.

Two options that I know of...especially if you have a custom cover already. Take the cover and the boat to an upholstery shop and have a new cover made off the template of the old cover. Saves a lot of labor when they don't have to make a pattern. The upholstery person can adjust for the shrinkage. Maybe just get out of the cold water?

2nd option - you can get a reasonably inexpensive cover from a boat store like Bart's or West Marine - that will generally fit more or less...and put it on OVER the fitted cover you already have.
