New 2010 questions

I just pick up my new 2010 vlx. ( pics to come shortly) My questions are..

1, I ordered the flush kit. It is located under the left side of the engine almost out of reach. Has anyone else had this issue?

2. I ordered the 3 battery option. They are telling me it only comes with two batteries and a device to make them drain equally? Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks for your time and help,

Charles

Wierd my boat came with the three battery option and it actually had 3 batteries. Maybe you only got charged for the dual battery option?

This VLX is on our dealer's floor:

The engine flush connection is right next to the left tie-down (third photo). I might have liked the set-up if it were inside the engine compartment. Perhaps you can extend the connection to make it more accessible.

This might clarify what Malibu offers - but keep in mind each dealer may add to these -

No Optional Battery Setup chosen - 1 Battery box and strap.

Additional Options:

Battery Setup Option 1 - CE compliant. Includes a battery isolator switch, no extra box or cables.

Battery Setup Option 2 - Includes a battery isolator switch with a second box and cables.

Battery Setup Option 3 - VSR (Voltage Sensitive Relay) system, dual battery boxes and single disconnect switch. Upgraded starter kit to allow the addition of multiple batteries.

Malibu offers batteries as options, but I suspect most dealers install their own batteries. As a dealer I would order a different battery setup option for each style of boat, and it's expected type of use.
