We finally had a day without rain, so we took the boat out. Water was cold, but everyone had a blast. I took some photos and thought I'd share a couple with you:

She is fairly loaded with maliview, power wedge, bow ballast, and eight speaker/woofer sound system:

We ordered the cold weather options: heater, driver seat heater, and hot water shower. Our dealer also added an extra rear heater with two pull-out tubes:

We also wanted the bimini, tower speakers, and the extra racks for the tower. I didn't like how the bimini seats when stored, and my wife didn't like the looks of the stock speakers. I'm hoping Malibu will re-design the second pair of racks so that they angle up like the previous years models. In any case, we are in love with the boat and very happy to be Malibu owners.

Very nice! My family would love this.

yeah, the way the bimini closes up sucks. they need a better solution for it.

Very nice boat...congrats What kit did the dealer buy to add vents to your heater? I also got the heater option. I was upset to find that two of the vents were under the driver. I would have loved for one to be in the back.

Thank you. Everyone else as well. Not sure about the kit. It's probably the two outlet model from heatercraft. It's a separate unit from the stock heater, mounted forward of the right rear locker. When I ordered the boat, I asked they take away one of the outlets in front of the driver and turn it to an additional pullout tube at the walkthrough. It's not hard to do, I installed a four outlet heater in my previous boat. Somehow they missed that but promised to take care of it during the 20 hour service.

After seeing the 2011 bimini on Pennery's beautiful new VLX, I called our dealer. I'll be ordering one soon (depending on the price). If you already have a 2010 bimini, a kit to make it so that it stores forward on the tower is available.

I hope to get it out on the water tomorrow.. I will take some pics of it up... When I brought it home form the dealer it was blowing in the wind but we just pulled it 8 housrs yesterday and so I wrapped it with some plastic wrap used for packing and that stopped it from bobbing in the wind..
