Cracked gauges

Has anybodys gauges cracked just out of the blue. Mine DID over the weekend. I drove the boat saturday and parked it about dark that evening got in it sunday morning and the speedo gauge had crack in it. The four function gauge also has a small crack in it to. Are they expensive to replace? It gets me that they were fine one day and broke the next with out even moving the boat.

What are you cleaning them with. Windex will do that from several members experience.

I have never used windex. The only thing that I have really ever used is the left over 303 that is on the rag from cleaning the rest of the boat and maybe a little wax residue from that rag. I have never sprayed anything directly on the gauges to clean them. Beside the crack looks broke not like when plexi glass gets the little cracks in it.
