cannon plug location! please please please help

Recommended Posts

hey guys im haveing a seriouse problem with my gauges. i have replaced every computer on the boat. ive looked at all the wiring and fuses and see nothing blown, cut, frayed, everything lookst perfect! the boat will start and run. but nothing on the controll panel works. my wedge will also go down but not up. every other switch on the boat works perfectly. these problems just started all at once. everything was perfect. and it was like a light switch got turned off. i have read many posts on cannon plug location but i can not find that plug for the life of me. ive looked everywhere! using a power probe, i can put 12v to the red wire with a white stripe comeing out of the mdc box and make my tach start working and i believe the temp is working, it will also show me the volts and oil pressure. but my malibu message center will not come on when doing this. its a 2007 malibu vlx. if anyone can help me or lives near the norman okc area in oklahoma i will gladley pay dearly for some advise or help. thanks robby.... you can also reach me at [email protected] or 405 206 6938

This is the "cannon plug" on an older V-drive.

If you have one, I'd assume it would be in relatively the same location.

It is directly under the ski pylon, in the engine compartment, behind the back seat, right in the middle.

Sorry, I can't help you with your exact problem.
