Saying Good Bye To an Old Friend

This is the last weekend for Blue Thunder. After a great run and generating the best wave in the business for two and a half years it is time to say good bye. You will be missed and we thank you for all the great times. We say welcome to our 2010 named "Sparkles". Yes mixed emotions. it is amazing what our ladies can do to us.

Yes she will. Been a great boat but my local dealer wants us representing Malibu and Wakesurfing in a 2010. We agreed.

Sparkles comes from the Metal Flake Silver on the boat. Thats all on that for now. I actually came up with the name and my bride loved it. After all I am well aware of who I work for. New boat pics coming in just a few weeks. We are taking Blue Thunder in monday for the stereo swap over and to have the additional custom ballast system put in the new boat. I almost feel like I am taking a great dog to the vet to have it put down.

We will do a photo shoot of the boat and post the pics.

Having major mixed emotions.

Thanks for all the support! I plan on being every bit as active in Promoting the 247 as the Best Wave Machine on the Planet and showing solid support of those findings with great photos.

I kicked my old boat in the transom and sent it on it's way without shedding a tear. I was mumbling something about Metcraft and JBL. Then I saw the new owner step on the vinyl with his shoes on and I lost it.
